Work Experience

Machine Learning Engineer at Gemini, LLC

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Gemini, LLC, I am responsible for the end to end development of ML models, including model research and testing, implementation, and deployment using DataBricks and/or AWS resources. Models used include decision trees, text sentiment analysis transformers, and Monte Carlo methods. I also developed multiple volatility indicators using econometric and statistical models.
In this role I've really enjoyed:

  • Experimenting with models and finding solutions that provide business value
  • Creating ML deployment pipelines and figuring out how money and time can be saved at each step using different approaches.

Programmer Writer at Amazon (AWS)

As an AI/ML technical writer at AWS, I worked with multiple teams to create technical documentation and tutorials for customers using Amazon SageMaker. In my work, I regularly used AWS services including but not limited to Amazon SageMaker distributed (a deep learning distributed training library), Amazon S3, IAM, Textract and Rekognition.

Business Development Lead at Schneider Estates, Inc

Before working at AWS, I worked as a lead of business development in a boutique real estate brokerage in Santa Cruz, CA. I helped created automated systems for lead acquisition and increased the volume of leads in our sales funnel by 3x.

Education Background

I received a Masters in Computer Sciences from Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) with a specialization in Machine Learning in December of 2022. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz. I received a B.A. in Economics, Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors in the Major as well as a minor in Mathematics. I graduated with a 3.97 GPA.
